HOW TO BECOME A CONSIGNOR

Clothing Consignments –Find wonderful items in your closet, clean them, make sure they are wrinkle free, hang them on hangers and wish them good luck so they sell for big bucks. The nicer the items look when they come in, the quicker they will sell. 

Household Accessory & Furniture Consignment - Pick out fabulous home accessory items, dust them, clean them and shine them up; inspect them for chips or breaks. For furniture please send a photo to DIRECTOR@TAZEWELLTODAY.COM, talk to TAZEWELL TODAY about a good day to bring it or make arrangements for pick-up.

What we accept:

All clothing, shoes & handbags MUST have a brand name on them

Women’s Clothing & Shoes - Current Styles

Designer Clothing and Handbags

Men’s Clothing & Shoes 

Children’s Clothing

Wedding Dresses, Men's Suits

Jewelry(Jewelry Must be clean), Belts, Hats and other  Gorgeous Accessories

Furniture ie... sofas, chairs, tables etc..., 

Household items...ie... lamps, home decor, art, mirrors, vintage vinyl records or anything in your house you’re just not using. Bring it in and we'll accept what we feel will sell! We are not accepting Entertainment Centers, or China Cabinets.

IMPORTANT: All clothing items MUST BE ON HANGERS 

If you need hangers, stop in and pick some up prior to dropping of clothes .

Ensure all items are clean including jewelry and that  clothes are WRINKLE FREE, have no stains and in like-new condition. 

What we don't accept:

Bathing Suits/Undergarments , Leggings

Bed Linens(Unless New In Package)

Lingerie

Used Electronics

Socks

Large and Small Appliances

Kitchen Utensils etc… 

Wedding Gowns

Clothing from Wal-Mart, Kohl’s, Target, Forever 21, etc.(we just can’t compete with their prices)

Holiday items can be brought in eight weeks before the holiday

…and will be removed from the sales floor promptly the day after the holiday

All Year Long - Furniture, Household Items, and Evening Gowns.

Pricing -  We price the items to get the most for both of us. We reserve the right to raise or lower the price in order to make a sale. We will try very hard to get the best possible price for you. 

Commission Amounts - For clothing you will receive 40% of the sale price; Furniture and Household items you will receive 60% of the sale price

How you get paid - We write checks on the 15th of the month for the previous two months' sales for any amount over $25.00.  Make a note of check writing months: January, March, May, July, September and November.  You may drop in anytime after the 15th of those months to pick up your check. 

Consignment Timeline - We will display your clothing for two (2) months. We will display your furniture and household items for three (3) months and the selling price will be reduced by 25% for the last month.  Any unsold items may be picked up by you before the end of the consignment period or donated to become property of Renewed Roots..  

Due To The High Cost of Doing Business, There will Be a $2 Surcharge Per  Boutique Item That You Would Like Back.

 We reserve the right to remove an item from the sales floor if it is not selling even before the consignment period expires, and to mark-down further for pop-ups sales.

What to do at the end of the Consignment Period - We do not notify you at the end of your consignment period    consignment period is over or to tell you what has sold. You must keep track yourself of the pick-up date and come in and pick up any unsold items; OR just do nothing and we’ll donate everything for you. Donation receipts for your taxes from Blossom and Bloom are available at the front desk.
